Since 1992, Passmore Laboratory has been providing analytical test services and technical advice to businesses and folks in the West Kootenays. We offer information and assistance based on our many years experience in:

• testing drinking water
• helping clients set up water monitoring programs and,
• quality control testing for food processors.

Our services are available to cities and townships, real estate agents, food processors and to the public. We also work with community groups and government agencies.

Passmore Laboratory offers a high quality service, solid technical expertise and comprehensive internal quality control.

We are approved by the BC Public Health Officer through the Enhanced Water Quality Assurance (EWQA) program for total coliform, fecal coliform and E.coli. in drinking waters.

We follow quality control and assurance recommendations as outlined in the A.P.H.A, Standard Methods sections 9020A to 9020C and Canada Public Health Agency Laboratory Biosaftey Guidelines. And, we participate in the Canadian Microbiological Proficiency Testing Service (CMPT) Drinking Water Test Program.
